Terms and Conditions
By subscribing to Sea Forager Seafood’s subscription service you agree to the following:
Subscribe – Sign up and create a secure online member profile that includes your share options, your pick-up location, frequency, and your account activity. You can check your status, make changes to your account or pick up location, edit your credit card info or password, or place a hold on your account if you go on vacation. Get started!
Payments – We bill your Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card or accept your electronic check the same day you pick up your order. It’s automatic and you will get a statement by email. We do not store any of your personal or financial information on our website. Our order site is run by Farmigo and your information is stored securely by Authorize.net for credit cards or Checkgateway.com for electronic checks. Members will be charged for any and all additional fees that we may incur on returned or bounced checks.
Subscription service – You have the option to sign up for a minimum of 4 seafood deliveries over 4 weeks or 52 weeks. Renewal is automatic, and you are welcome to log into your account and cancel at any time. You will receive an email confirmation of your sign-up and payment.
Your insulated cooler bag – You have the option to buy an insulated cooler bag for your fish pickup (it is available in the farmigo store when you purchase your fish). You may then bring it to each following pickup so that you can transport your next fish home at the ideal temperature. Your share will be packaged with your name on it. We strongly recommend you place your seafood in a refrigerator (set to 32 degrees) as soon as possible after picking up your share. Sea Forager Seafood is not responsible for what happens to your share after you pick it up.
Picking Up Your Order – Each location is unique, so when you pick up at your selected location, check the instructions for specific pirckup details.
Only take the package with your name on it. All packages are labeled; if there isn’t one there for you, there is a reason why and we will do our best to connect you with your fish. If you have someone pickup for you, please inform them of this policy.
Missing Your Pick Up - If you miss your pick up your package will be donated to an interested party or facility, such as the San Francisco Food Bank or the Sea Forager Test Kitchen. It is your responsibility to pick up your package, if you do not pick it up we cannot credit you, but rest assured that your fish will not go to waste!
Changing Your Pick Up Location - The deadline for changes to your location for Wednesday deliveries is Sunday at midnight, and for Friday deliveries it is Monday at mindnight. If you need to change it back just log into your account again to do so.
Vacation and Suspension Holds - Put your Sea Forager Seafood delivery on hold by logging into your account before midnight on Sunday for the coming week. Your credit/debit card will not be charged while your delivery is on hold, unless your account reaches $0, at which point it will automatically renew.
Communications - Sea Forager Seafood will send you regular emails informing you of payments or pickups (and maybe a poem or two). By becoming a member of our CSF, you are agreeing to open and read all email communications as soon as you see them since much of the information is time sensitive.
Cancellations - You may cancel your subscription by emailing me. Please be sure you get a confirmation email back confirming your cancellation.
Holiday Changes - We will give you plenty of notice if we need to make any holiday date changes.
Refund Policy – All Sea Forager Seafood subscription purchases are non-refundable. You are welcome to put your order on hold if you are unable to pick it up as long as you do so at last three days before the scheduled pick up. If you wish to change your subscription type for any reason, please log into your account and do so or email me.
