Whip up an easy teriyaki sauce, marinate your fillets for 20 minutes or so, then cook your fish and make a sauce with the leftover marinade. With a side of rice and steamed broccoli you’ve got yourself an easy and impressive dinner!


  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • preheat your oven to 400 degrees

2 TBSP unsalted butter

2 TBSP flour

1 ½ cup half and half

¼ tsp each salt & pepper

¼ cup Wasabi powder



Make a roux:  Melt 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter and then add 2 Tablespoons flour and cook 1 minute over low heat, just enough to cook the flour.

Salmon! A perfect, magical fish that can be enjoyed a million ways. This is one of my favorites, it's easy and impressive, and the gingery-salty-miso is a lovely balance to the richness of the fish.
